To cope with the constant overload caused by computer work and other applications of digital displays, the eye-ergo® is the solution to eliminate symptoms of digital eyestrain. The eye-ergo® is a specifically designed training tool to reduce and prevent digital eyestrain. The use of the eye-ergo® stimulates the flexible focusing of the eyes on various distances and builds visual reserves. This will prevent the eyes from being over- strained. Negative symptoms such as headaches, tired eyes and uncomfortable vision will be reduced.
The eye-ergo® offers you the possibility to give the necessary movement to the eyes at frequent intervals.
As a result, the complaints, which go along with a rigid attitude of the eyes, will be reduced.

Testimonial regarding the *NEW* eye-ergo® :
Dear Therapists,
I have had the privilege of “Beta” testing a new vision therapy product from Optomatters, the Eye-Ergo.
As with many of our VT equipment, it is a simple device used for relaxing the eyes during computer work. At first, I was skeptical. I know all about computer hygiene - taking your 20 minutes breaks, getting up and moving, looking away, relaxing your eyes! My eyes still get tired and I want to take a nap. (Being retired, I have that privilege). Now, after a month of intense 8 hours a day of computer work, I am recommending the Eye-Ergo. It has helped me get through the day more relaxed.
It can be explained better by Sonja, from Optomatter, who wrote the following about the difference between the Eye*Ergo and the Brock String.:
“I also want to go deeper into the subject Eye-Ergo so you can understand better the difference:
I understand their reaction about the similarity between this tool and the Brock String.
I’m not only a supplier of VT products but I also was and still am (I think ; - ) a good VT therapist.
The Brock String is an item to train mainly the physiological diplopia, what means that it is a basic tool to work on the binocular system .
The colors red, yellow and green do help to stimulate the binocularity at different distances, that is common knowledge and is the only common thing with the Eye-Ergo.
The application of the brock string is meant to work on the status of appropriate teaming of the two eyes together. To make the trainee conscious about how the two eyes work together while they have to converge and diverge and if there exists a suppression.
The application of the Eye-Ergo is directed to bring again movement and flexibility between the two eyes during the exhausting work for the eyes when concentrating constantly on a computer screen. The working distance for the eyes looking at the display is unnatural and demands a hard work. That’s why this tool must bring during work breaks again movement and flexibility.
The moving marble induce an automatic movement of the eyes in contradiction with the brock string where the trainee has to make the movement itself looking from one colored pearl to another. This induce another way of training the convergence and the divergence.
What I want to reach with the eye-ergo is that people who have to work continuously on computers, that they can use it every hour for getting their eyes in shape.
This doesn’t mean that the eye-ergo cannot be integrated into a VT session. At the contrary, it is a device which certainly can be applied in a VT program., especially for convergence insufficiency …..
